Shipping Policy
At Litania, many products are made specifically for each customer from an accepted Photo Submission. Because these pieces are produced to order rather than pulled from stock, production time and transit time are separate.
1. Production Timing
Production typically begins after we send notice that your Photo Submission has been accepted and production is beginning or scheduled to begin within 24 hours.
Production timelines shown on our website are estimates unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
Orders are not ready for production until we have received and accepted the required Photo Submission and any other information we reasonably need to proceed.
2. Shipping Timing
Estimated transit times are separate from production times.
Delivery dates are not guaranteed unless we expressly state in writing that a date is guaranteed.
Carrier delays, weather events, customs processing, high-volume periods, and address issues can affect delivery timing after shipment.
3. Shipping Delays
If a material delay affects when your order can be shipped, we may contact you with an updated estimate and available options.
If we cannot ship within the time stated on the website or, if no time is stated, within the time required by applicable law, we may contact you with an updated estimate and available options.
4. Shipping Address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
If an incorrect or incomplete address causes delay, non-delivery, or return to sender, additional shipping charges may apply.
5. Tracking and Delivery
If tracking is provided, we will send or make available tracking information once your order ships.
Delivery may be established by carrier tracking, delivery scan, or similar proof.
6. Returned or Refused Shipments
If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to claim, reshipment fees may apply.
If we determine that the address issue originated from information provided in your order, you may be responsible for additional shipping costs.
7. Lost, Stolen, or Misdelivered Packages
If tracking shows delivery but you cannot locate your package, contact us promptly. We may ask you to check with household members, neighbors, building staff, or the carrier before determining next steps.
8. International Orders
For international orders, duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Customs processing can affect delivery timing.
If a shipment is refused because duties, taxes, or similar charges are not paid, additional shipping or handling fees may apply.
