Return, Refund, and Remake Policy
Because many Litania pieces are Custom Orders made specifically for you from your accepted Photo Submission, our policy differs from a standard stock-goods return model.
If something is wrong, please contact us promptly so we can review and, where appropriate, resolve it.
1. Cancellations Before Production Start
You may request cancellation only before Production Start.
Production Start means the time Litania sends notice that your Photo Submission has been accepted and production is beginning or scheduled to begin within 24 hours.
If an approved cancellation occurs before Production Start, refunds are generally issued to the original payment method. Bank and payment-provider processing times may vary.
2. No General Returns After Production Start
Because each Custom Order is made specifically for you using your submitted photo and specifications, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges once Production Start has occurred, except as described below or where required by law.
3. If Your Order Arrives Damaged
If your order arrives damaged in transit, email support@litania.studio within 14 days after Delivery Confirmation.
Please include:

photos of the packaging

photos of any visible shipping damage
We will review the issue and, where appropriate, repair, remake, replace, or otherwise resolve it.
4. If Your Order Has a Manufacturing Defect
If you believe your order has a manufacturing defect, email support@litania.studio within 14 days after Delivery Confirmation with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
We review each case individually and, where appropriate, may repair, remake, replace, or otherwise resolve the issue.
5. If You Received the Wrong Item
If you received the wrong item, contact us within 14 days after Delivery Confirmation with your order number and supporting photos.
If confirmed, we will work with you on the appropriate remedy.
6. If You Believe There Is a Material Mismatch
If you believe your finished piece materially differs from the accepted production basis for your order, contact us within 14 days after Delivery Confirmation and include your order number and clear supporting photos.
Because each piece is a physical interpretation of a submitted image, minor variation in relief, finish, detail, cropping, contrast, metal behavior, and handmade characteristics is expected.
Where we determine that a Material Mismatch has occurred, our primary remedies are repair, remake, or replacement. Refund may be offered at our discretion or where required by law.
7. What Is Not Covered
This policy does not cover:

change-of-mind dissatisfaction after Production Start

issues resulting primarily from a low-quality source image that was accepted for production
-
ordinary handmade variation

normal wear and tear
-
accidental damage after delivery
-
damage or discoloration caused by water, chemicals, lotions, perfumes, abrasion, impact, misuse, sports, sleep, bathing, swimming, or machinery
8. Return of Original Item
Where appropriate, we may require return of the original item before or after providing a repair, remake, replacement, refund, or other resolution.
9. Refund Timing
If we approve a refund, it will generally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary by payment provider.
